ASU Salamanca Program

      Financial Aid and Scholarships

      Financial Aid

Students may be able to apply for financial aid for the Salamanca program through their home institution. If not, they will have to apply to ASU as regular students and apply for financial aid through ASU. If this is the case, apply to the Salamanca program early and let the director know you will be applying for financial aid through ASU.

Even if you already received financial aid, you may obtain additional loans for the purpose of studying abroad.

      HOPE Scholarship (Georgia only)

HOPE will pay the tuition (minus student fees), which varies from campus to campus. HOPE will also give you book money. Check your home institution financial aid office to inquire about procedures for using HOPE on this program. Do not assume the HOPE will be automatically processed for the Salamanca program.  You must take the appropriate steps on your own campus to ensure you receive the HOPE funds.

      Regents' Scholarship (Georgia only)

Go to www.usg.edu/oie/catalog/. For information, click on "Financial Aid and Scholarships." For an application, click on "Study Abroad Scholarship Application." Deadlines are noted on the application page.

      Other Scholarships

Check your home institution for additional scholarships. ASU students may pick up an application for the ASU Study Abroad Scholarship in the office of the Dean of Students, Boykin-Wright Hall or at the ASU International Studies Program Office in Allgood Hall, E119.
